Donna lives an inspired life of passion, business and football. With a foundation in health and wellness, Donna has established herself as one of the most dominant players in women’s professional football. Known as "The Animal," Donna has been playing with the D.C Divas since their inaugural season in 2001 in the NWFL. She has played defensive end, fullback, running back, linebacker and is currently a tight end for the Divas.
Donna is part of a storied Divas tradition that includes winning 7 out of the last 8 Division Titles, 4 straight Undefeated Regular Seasons, a National Championship at 11-0 in 2006, and the Eastern Conference Championship in 2009
In 2010 Donna became a Gold Medalist representing the United States in the historic Women’s Football World Championship games in Sweden as a member of the US National Team. Team USA had training camp in Texas and then traveled to Stockholm to play in a six country world championship: Austria, Finland, Sweden, Canada and Germany all competed. Donna played tight end and defensive end for Team USA, who set the tone for the tournament and won the Gold Medal to become the first ever Women’s Football World Champions!
A legend in DC, Donna has been named to the All-Star team in all three leagues that she has participated in, playing three different positions - running back, linebacker and tight end.
In 2007 Donna played in the WPFL in the fall with the Los Angeles Amazons. Donna energized an Amazon defense, and was named to the All-Pro team as a Middle Linebacker. The Amazons have since moved to the WFA and compete in the Western Conference.
Donna was part of a reality TV show called the "Gender Bowl" in 2005 in Los Angeles which aired on the Dish Network in December of 2005. The ladies of the D.C. Divas and Pittsburgh Passion teamed up with players from California to take on a group of male, former high school football players looking for one more shot at a "Big Game." The men discovered they would be playing women after their first practice, and the 2nd battle of the sex’s game was played at the historic Los Angeles Coliseum. The ladies tied the game with a few seconds left on the clock and a controversial conclusion left the ladies looking for more.
In 2004, She played in the Junkies "Turkey Bowl" where the Sports Junkies (currently of 106.7 WJFK-FM) battled it out with the Divas in a (man vs. woman) tackle football showdown for charity, at the Sports & Learning Complex in Landover, Maryland. Over 8,500 people filled the stadium to capacity as the women stood toe to toe with the men.
In 2003 Donna became the 1st female in history to win the Washington Pig Skin Club "John W. Posey" award for professional athlete of the year, also awarded to Jeremiah Trotter, Lavernues Coles, Todd Heap and Ed Reed, of the Redskins and Ravens. That year she was an NWFA All-Star running back, a Divas team captain and MVP, and the first woman in NWFA to rush for over 1000 yards in a season.
Donna graduated Valedictorian of her high school class at La Sierra Academy in Southern California, where she was an All-State CIF Volleyball and Basketball player. Donna received B.S. degrees in Business Administration and Health Fitness Management from Columbia Union College, where she attended on a softball pitching scholarship, and competed in five different sports her sophomore year.
Donna is a wellness and recovery expert and works independently as a professional consultant, international business developer, retirement income strategist, speaker, trainer, mentor and distributor of breakthrough health technologies.

Donna joins members of Congress for the 2011 Congressional
Football Game.
Photo by Marty LaVor The Congressional Football Game for Charity is back for more action and your invited to participate in a Capitol Hill fall classic. This year's game benefits the Capitol Police
Memorial Fund and Our Military Kids non-profit organizations.
Produced as a family-friendly
event, Donna Wilkinson of the D.C. Divas and several of your favorite former
NFL players will once again be on the sidelines and on the field as coaches and
players.
In 2009, the congressional squad,
led by Representative Heath Shuler, won for the first time a hard-fought game
against a team of Capitol Hill Police playmakers, led by Captain Jim Davis. It
was a thrilling event packed with a pre-game show from NFL Play 60, and a coin
toss presided by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
While both teams play hard to win, the ultimate winners are the
charities for which we are playing -- The Capitol Police Memorial Fund,
providing assistance to families of their fallen and Our Military Kids,
providing grants to children of deployed National Guard and Reserve
personnel as well as to children of severely injured service members to
cover the costs for enrichment activities and tutoring.
The 5th edition of this gridiron
showdown between members of Congress and the Capitol Police flag football squad
has been postponed due to inclement weather. New date and time will be
announced shortly!

 When 45 of the top
football players from all around the United States were selected to play
on the first ever women’s football National Team, none could have anticipated
the magic of what was about to unfold.
One by one we gathered in
Round Rock Texas for the beginning of training camp on a hot summer day in
June. All-Stars and players that we have competed against for years came together
to participate in the event of a lifetime. A few teammates and a few foes… we would not have imagined that we could come together and become One Team, and one family so fast.
Each player worked hard and
put forth the effort that was necessary for us to arrive at this point. Some of us
have played for 10 years, others just a few, but we were all selected for the
role we would play and the kind of impact our attitude would have on the team.
Indeed, we all love the game of football and earned the opportunity to be here and represent our country.
Training camp was tough
and put the team and mission into focus quickly. The perfectly structured days
from breakfast to bed included: early breakfast, meetings, morning practice,
lunch, afternoon practice, dinner, film and study periods and a team favorite
“success” period in which the “onion” was unveiled. The heat during practice
was intense and forced us into frequent water and fruit breaks. The pace and
energy of the coaching staff kept things moving as with a force of nature. It
was clear by the personnel packages that the coaches spent prudent time
creating a threatening, multi-attack offense and fast swarming defense. All we
needed to do was buy into the system, accept our role then learn and execute our
responsibilities. Simple enough, yet are 45 women going to put their ego aside
and become One Team and buy into One Mission?
