HISTORICAL FOOTBALL AND CLASSIC GAMES

Donna has been a part of some of the most Historical Football Games in History! Check out all the action, reaction, hype and highlights as she plays with members of congress and takes on the men in full tackle football games, twice!

CONGRESSIONAL FLAG FOOTBALL

In November of 2011 & 2013 Donna joined an All-Star cast of former NFL players and members of congress in a flag football game for charity.

Practices began early morning in front of the Capitol with Ken Harvey and John Booty as coaches. Members worked on conditioning, pass blocking, running routs, defensive drops, coverages and offensive schemes. The energy was high as the Mean Machine prepared to defend their first win against the Guards in the 2009 Classic.

GENDER BOWL - REALITY TV SHOW

In 2005 Donna joined a select number of players from the DC Divas, Pittsburgh Passion and local California teams to participate in a Reality TV show in Long Beach CA called THE GENDER BOWL, produced by Joel Raatz.

The show featured former high school football stars who wanted one more shot at glory on the gridiron - 15 or 20 years after they ended their football careers. The men were selected after tryouts in the local Southern California area, but were not told who their competition would be until they met them face-to-face.

JUNKIES TURKEY BOWL - BATTLE OF THE SEXES

On a cold and rainy Monday night in November, 2004 the DC Divas took on the Sports Junkies in a “Battle of the Sexes” tackle football game, contested under NFL rules. The Junkies challenged the Divas to this match-up and talked trash about women on-air all month as they prepared for the game of their lives.

The historic game was held at the Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex in Landover, Maryland. The stadium was filled to capacity for the first ever "men versus women" tackle football game. This was the largest crowd to watch a women's tackle football game live.
