A Women's Football Legend

Nicknamed The ANIMAL

Donna has been a dominant force in the world of women's football for the past 17 years. She is a unique and enduring athlete who is a pioneer and leads the way for young female athletes who dream of playing tackle football.

​

Donna’s Hall of Fame football career began as a member of the 2001 DC Divas “Inaugural Team.” She started for the Divas playing on both sides of the ball at DE & FB, and all special teams. Donna scored the first TD in Divas history, on defense and continued to dominate both sides of the ball. After two years she moved to TB where she earned MVP honors and became a league All-Star, rushing for over 3,100 yards and 39 TD’s in three seasons.

After her record breaking season as a running back in 2003 Donna was the first woman in history to be awarded the PigSkin Club "John W. Posey" professional athlete of the year award. That year she joined award winners Jeremiah Trotter and ​Laveranues Coles of the Redskins and Ed Reed and Todd Heap of the Ravens with this distinct honor.

In 2006 Donna moved to LB and after an ACL tear and recovery was recruited to play near her home town in California in the 2007 off-season with the LA Amazons. She had an impressive season with the Amazons and returned to DC with a Division Title and All-pro awards. The following spring, Donna made the move to TE  where she has continued to be a dominant All-Star and team leader for the Divas.

Women’s football has exploded in the United States with over 60 teams participating in the WFA - Women’s Football Alliance. The sport is also growing around the world and many countries are now boast women's football teams.

​

In 2010 Donna was recognized as one of the top 45 players in the Country when she was selected to play for the first USA Football Women’s National Team. Donna played both DE and TE on a Team USA that dominated the IFAF Women’s Football World Championships in Stockholm, Sweden and brought home the Gold Medal.

​

Donna played with Team USA in the second Women's World Championships in Finland in the summer of 2013. The United States brought home the Gold with victories over Sweden, Germany and Canada. Donna played defensive end and short yardage runningback for the US National Team.

 

Donna’s expertise in recovery and healing has allowed her to excel and dominate year after year, developing a deep knowledge of herself, the game, and how to stay in the game. Donna continues to share her expertise and knowledge as a sports analyst, speaker, trainer, health consultant and mentor – inspiring people to discover their passion and express their own greatness.

​

Donna shared her expert analysis of Washington Redskins, Baltimore Ravens and college football Saturday's as a sports analyst for WUSA 9 “GAME ON” show which aired from 2012-1015 during the NFL and college football season.
